badminton
hahas.. was watching the aviva singapore badminton opens finals today on tv.. i think badminton is really not a bad sport.. should go out n play more.. heh hehs.. but i dont have racket.. =X
anyways.. the finals matches get more n more exciting as it goes on.. esp the last match.. men's doubles.. most exciting alr!
at 1st i watch.. is women's doubles.. cos nth to do den watch abit.. then both teams are from china.. either one win still china la.. den women's singles.. more exciting.. cos is world no.1 vs world no.2..
dunno y.. for most part of the live show i was rooting for the ones who're initially at the losing side.. maybe i have a really sympathetic nature? hahahhas.. no la.. think someth weird with me..
anyways.. the women's singles' quite nice.. the world no.2 very pro.. i was sort of rooting for the world no.1 but in the end she lost.. too bad.. but she was a v gracious player.. can see.. n she's still young can win more in the future..
den mixed doubles.. for some reason.. i root for the thai team instead of the indonesian one.. maybe i think the pair is cuter? hahas.. but the game is the fastest of all the matches today.. speed of the badminton really fast.. one game can end in seconds.. quite nice.. but indo like win quite easily though they're supposed to be ranked lower than the thai team..
for men's singles.. at 1st b4 the match i sort of rooting for the china one.. but after the game start.. i switched side.. hahahas.. the thai guy very pro.. can dart ard v fast.. n he looks.. hmmm quite cute.. hahas..
then men's doubles.. china vs m'sia.. maybe i should root for m'sia cos my country mahh.. but i ended up rooting for china.. =X cos v peifu them!! n cos i'm weird.. i like to root for the side who appears to be losing.. cos china lost 1st round.. m'sia became more confident.. 2nd round is like WOW.. both teams' points are v close with each other.. like one time this side win one time the other side win.. den end up same point.. like the commentator for the live show said.. "the comeback kings" the china guys really fought back v hard to "steal" 2 game points from the m'sians n for 3rd round catch up 7points to be in the lead n eventually win the game 21-19.. i think.. such a close match!! well done for both teams!! m'sian team has great team spirit n chemistry!
well.. initially boring day.. but made me appreciate badminton more now.. hehs..
now gng to watch my show.. to catch the uncatchable.. so funny!
